Dauntless and Fae Farm developer Phoenix Labs is the latest studio to be hit by a round of layoffs. In addition to the job cuts, the team is also reducing their in production lineup.

    I feel like Phoenix Labs would be in a much better place if they'd kept focus on more regular Dauntless updates until they'd actually released a second project. Dauntless felt like it was really going somewhere a year or two ago, and then it felt like around the same time they announced they had "close to 10 new projects" in development, content for Dauntless slowed to a crawl. I imagine players started leaving in droves over the past year, and now with the delay of Fae Farm as well, here we are.
