    If the FTC (US Regulatory Body) approves this. UK could find themselves out of the loop when it comes to these products for their citizens. This rumble has been fun to watch.

    Sony has acquired five studios throughout 2021: Valkyrie Entertainment, Housemarque, Bluepoint, Firesprite, and Nixxes.

    In 2022, Sony has acquired two more studios: Haven Studios and Bungie

    No one questioning their buying habits

    Because no one really wants a group of goons in suits storming into your office, home, bedroom, or bathroom screaming at you until they get what they want; because that's Sony's approach; historically.

    Are you talking about the Sony who....

    is one of the worlds largest electronics, device and television/monitor makers?

    planted rootkits on PCs by users just putting a CD/DVD in the drive?

    used anti-competitive and shady practices to crush HD-DVD in favor of their own proprietary licensed BluRay that the entire world would need to pay them to use?

    owns a patent portfolio that would fill the library of Congress?

    has a dominant market position in the entertainment industry that uses their position to pay studios and publishers to stay off of Xbox for PC/Consoles?

    Maybe it is Sony who should face antitrust scrutiny, at least in the US. Generally speaking, we are very hands off that way as a country until it rattles the consumer cage.
