    So now we know the secret is a new open beta weekend on May 12-14 they're calling a "server slam."

    Yeah I was pretty sure they would do something because it was a long way from the prior open beta to launch.
    I might just skip it because I played the hell out of the last one and don't want to burn out. But given the class balancing that has happened... I am tempted to check it out

    I'm targeting the Druid for this one. It just did;t click for me last time but I want to like it so I'm curious to see the changes. 

    Drop rates are set to the release level, not the inflated previous beta levels so you'll get a more realistic 1-20 leveling experience.

    Also, there's a new cosmetic reward for this next open beta if you're interested in that. You get a mount trophy cosmetic (which kind of looks like a Witcher 3 trophy) for killing the world boss at level 20 and that world boss will appear every 3 hours throughout the beta.

    The server slam went well without any major hitches. Props to the dev for being able to address issues in the backend without taking the server offline!
