I spend so many days off from work and weekends down the drain on seaching for a game
that seems great to play..I did play Elden ring and its a great game, then i play league legends few games a week.

I just finished the new quest in Warframe just to find my self bored again.

Then i play path of exile in the leagues but finished my build and sort of got bored again.
So thats the 3 games i have installed..kind of sad.

I once played Conan exile and liked the game but hated the players in the pvp servers and all these mods i had to install.
So i dont know if this game is still is a thing..i dont even see it on steam top 100 list.

Then i see a game called Rust on the 5th place and looking from gameplays on youtube then it looks knd of good.
I just hate to spend 35 eu on a game that dosent rock and roll in 2023 :D
Also my ain skills are crap, so i will prolly be easy target.
Do people play on different servers and how many are there ?

What games are people playing..suggest me some good multiplayer games.

I know diablo 4 is soon releasing but to be honest then the beta dident convince me to buy it...

I need help :D

Path of Exiles maybe if ARPG's are something you enjoy. F2P as a bonus without much P2W

Pretty sure you're losing it, not loosing it unless something is really tight. That being said Last Epoch is fun and could tide you over until D4. Also, I picked up The Division 2 recently for under $10. It's certainly worth that.

I would suggest the Jedi series. Jedi Survivor is one of the best SW games I have played and is cannon. Story is top notch and the combat is just up their with any modern games I have played. I'm 30+ hours in and still having a blast. Mass Effect the remasted edition is some of the best RPG I have played. Often on sale for way less then it should be. If you just not wanting to risk your money on a game and looking for a large number of game to sample till you find something to play. PC Game Pass is just 9.99 and has hundreds for games to try.

I allready mentioned that im playing path of exile but gg anyway.

SW never spoke to me..im not a fan of light sabres or jedi stuff.

I guess im not th eonly one in this situation where games are more or less dead.

Path of Exile also charges for storage tabs and their items take up more than one space. In Undecember you get 300 inventory slots. You only need the essence tab in Undecember.

Path of Exile has a trade that sells everything like the auction house in Undecember.

How come you're willing to play POE but criticize Undecember for the same things.

Have you thought that the lack of games might not be the core issue here? Maybe try fixing that or change up hobbies a bit?

Could always try gamepass, like 100+ games to mess around with for 10$ (or your regional equivalent).

As for comparing PoE to Undecember, its kind of like comparing an apple to a tomato. They're both technically fruit, but many people dont eat or even treat them the same way.

My gaming life is: Spends 4 hours to decide which game to play. Play 1 game for half an hour I'm not really into. I have seen 2 rocket launches and made a 2nd best selling novel and know an abnormal amount about the life cycles of various parasitic lifeforms.

Gaming wise: Diablo 4 is coming out soon maybe give that a go. Maybe No Mans Sky? That takes up a fair chunk of time if you like sci-fi.

I think it is the Korean game bias. They are willing to forgive it in a game from New Zealand.

To be honest with 8 character slots and each alt having 300 inventory slots you can really not buy a single storage tab in Undecember. I cannot say the same for Path of Exile at all. I also bought loads of currency in the trade function in POE when I played. I even bought fully linked gear and gems that were levelled were also available although I did not avail myself of that option in POE

Also the 6 linking of runes in Undecember has a far more forgiving pity system than Path of Exile that does not have one. The system in Undecember accumulates your attempts across the account so you can 6 link far more easier in Undecember. In all the time I played POE which was over a thousand hours I never 6 linked a damn thing. I have 6 linked various runes in Undecember across several alts.

However what people complain about in Undecember is given a total pass in POE.

Unless I'm reading that part wrong, you either traded for it for ingame items or bought however via other players, but not actually giving GGG the money to get it, right? Admittedly, I haven't played PoE in quite a while (simply because the gearing feels too convoluted even though the builds are probably the most fun I've ever had in arpg).

You can earn rubies in Undecember by selling items on the AH and using those to buy stuff. I haven't bought anything on the AH I have sold stuff though for rubies.

Ahh I see what you mean because you can exchange the diamonds which you buy for real money in Undecember for rubies.  Okay agreed that is not done in POE. You cannot sell that is trade with players in POE using the trade site unless you buy a premium storage tab for real money. You can shout your wares in Trade channel.

POE does sell storage tabs. Undecember does this too.

There is pvp in the souls games. You can play "human" and people can invade you. You can also invade others.

Other than that, people still play Conan Exiles and I think there's a sort of expansion with Magic. You'll just have to find a good server or create your own if you want to have better control of the community you play with.

I just finished the new quest in Warframe just to find my self bored again.

    ....

    I need help :D

First of all, you are not alone, many (probably all) long term gamers eventually run into this issue. It is both natural and a reflection on the state of the industry.

Humans brains are natural pattern matching engines. We spot patterns in everything, even if those patterns are often wrong. It is fun to learn and understand patterns, but after a while those patterns get boring and you need newer, more complex patterns to keep you engaged.

So, if you've been gaming for decades, there is a good chance you will have played most styles of games. You will have already spent plenty of time learning the patterns of how games are made, you probably already understand how the majority of the gameplay works before you ever start a new game. You'll then only get a small amount of fun from the new IP and the small differences in mechanics.....then you get bored.

This feeling is then compounded by the fact that the games industry is still primarily aimed at young people. If you are young and inexperienced, then the patterns that we older folk are bored by may still seem fresh and exciting. It's therefore cheaper and easier for devs to target this age group, repeating the same gameplay over and over but for a younger crowd each time.

    Some advice:

    1) Step outside your comfort zone

If you've been playing only RPGs and shooters for the last 20 years (as an example), you are unlikely to find a new RPG or shooter that really excites you. You've already mastered those genres! Try something new, something you don't really understand, and see if that can excite you.

    2) Introspection / More Research

If you can be bothered, perhaps examine your own gaming motivations. What do you actually, genuinely enjoy? If you liked one ARPG but not the other, what was the key difference for you?

Once you know yourself better, you can then do better research into the games you are going to buy. This should help you buy what you enjoy and avoid what you dont.

    3) Find other hobbies

I went through a phase where gaming was a major defense mechanism for me, my perfect route to escapism. But, this meant when I finished a game, I'd usually go through a really down period, just feeling bored, searching for new games but not finding any. I was depending on games too much, and it wasn't healthy.

It can help to try to find another hobby so that if your gaming hobby is letting you down, you can lean on something else.

For me, this was exercise and painting WH40k. The exercise just made me feel better in general, but also eats up a bunch of time, leaving less for gaming. This makes me feel more appreciative of the gaming time I do have. Then there is painting. I don't do this much, but if I've run out of games then it's fun to get out some models and spend a week or two painting in the evenings.
