It's the stationary casting + the game on top playing itself.
There's no way in the universe this game is not DOA on the west, even Koreans are making fun of this because it's rather over the top; they clearly designed primarly for mobile and the PC experience is not even a bother to make it feel good.
At least BDO did a PC MMO that plays like a PC MMO, and a mobile version of it that plays like a mobile MMO. Which is to me where this game is a huge hit and miss.
NCSoft did confirm there is skills that let you move. I do wonder the trailers of boss fights where no one is moving, if that has to do with auto play. I worry this maybe an endgame tool, not just for grinding.
Yep the trailers did look good because of all the shiny but once you notice hardly anyone moves on combat it gets rather clear this is overly designed to be good experience for mobile and that's it.
Otherwise it'd be primarly about you moving, dodging, casting your stuff, then yeah it'd feel nice. The vision they have for combat is the one they are giving players on the beta, not the one where they feel they're mobile and combat is fun, but the one where it's made to autoplay itself.
And not seeing the game being delayed at this point and this facing any major changes until release so I'll probably look around for greener fields.
Maybe Blue Proto... DELAY... WELL FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Yeah, I can already see the idea of people just showing up to whatever content the game has to offer, hitting auto and coming back dead. Not to mention, many mobile games have different forms of autoplay depending on if you pay a sub or not. Some just auto attack while others actually use your skills etc. A little hard to believe Amazon would attach their name to this unless they requested certain removals etc.

Well the video I posted in the OP confirms auto use of potions as well. My guess that lends itself to raids and dungeons and if you rely on auto play for long periods of time, you most likely will be buying heal pots from the cash shop as a convenance item. So you may not end up dead.
I was getting very strong Elyon vibes when watching the video. A real déjà vu...
The visual style, the fights, even some of the icons. If it also has auto-pathing, auto-combat, offline auto battles and similar crap (and a cash shop tied to all that), this is pretty much Elyon 2. And we all know how that ended.

I saw like 8 hours I saw on
one streamers screen for offline play. Maybe depending on your pots ect. Seems leveling
is not a major aspect of the game itself. The game looks cool, but it's like the fast food version of MMORPG gaming.I'll probably play it for a month or so then move on.

OR do you mean you will let your PC play the game for a month and check in on your progress? lol JK, Im sure I will check out the game myself. See if its worth my time. F2P helps make that an easy access for this.
Still willing to play a few hours of F2P. Still the worry that auto combat is the only way to compete with the community. One of the cash shop buy ins is the ability to play off line without your PC being logged in. That kinda cut deep when I read that.

Yeah. Since this is supposed to be similar to Lineage, I think some people should just look into the Lineage 2 f2p servers for a bit or at least watch some versions of the current game to get an idea of what they are getting into both gameplay wise and monetization wise. The grind in lineage 2 f2p is insane right now (I think a week to get 1 level or something past 100? I could be wrong) but the p2w in that game is even stronger.

I've played games with optional automatic potion use at a threshold. It's a fine convenience feature in itself. I've never combined them with auto-play as personally doing the play part is why I'm there to begin with.
