Eww, that is weird, almost Vanguard mount weird. But on a sidenote, does this game have persistent weather effects? I live in the general area and the total number of days where snow sticks on the south rim are few. Few enough that I wouldn't think a game would use it as the principle graphic for the area. It would be cool to have seasonal change though.
I'm assuming this game is set in the Southwestern United States.

The game is not even in Alpha stage and your complaining about the animations?
I just thought the strafing horse looked odd, but since you brought it up, when would be a good time to start complaining about the animations? Maybe I should consult you on when it's proper for me to have an opinion?

You do not have to get all moody, but now you ask. Either when you play Alpha/Beta or upon release. However you can have an opinion offcourse, but you made an statement that an "pantomime horse has more natural movement" It more sounded like an complain then an opinion.
The horse strafes....build a bridge, its not real. MMO characters run everywhere...real people don't. I think I saw the same thing in a Conan dev movie....
That sounds like a game-changer! I've never seen anything like that before. It's amazing how developers constantly find innovative ways to improve gameplay mechanics. A strafing horse could add a whole new level of realism and immersion to games set in a historical or fantasy setting where horses play a significant role. I can already imagine the intense battles and fast-paced chases that this mechanic could enable. Can't wait to try it out and see how it enhances the overall gaming experience!
What a random ass necro. Fallen Earth was pretty cool though.
