We loved the HIFIMAN Svanar in-ear monitors but what if you're ready to cut the cord? That's where the Svanar Wireless TWS earbuds come in. They're pretty distinctly for audiophiles, but if you don't mind paying extra for the privilege, they're a fun listen. Find out more in this review.

Interesting about the Hifi mode possibly using a different source chain. I had read about that mode, and it was leaving me scratching my head a bit, since my use-case for these would be in noisy environments where you would want to be using the ANC.

That's the only thing that would explain the big differences in battery life and the major volume difference. I understand why they wouldn't really publicize it if that's indeed the case, but I can't think of any reason why you would have those differences if it wasn't turning that chain on and off versus using the native chipset.

    It makes total sense.

Soundwise for me, they really do feel like a big step up technically from any other TWS I've tried. I was initially pretty excited when I started listening. Unfortunately the tuning was emphasizing certain parts of the music over others to an annoying degree. Tuning especially is super personal I think, so I just chalked it up to "not for me".
