I'm curious to find out what engine is being used. Hopefully they aren't using a revamped TQ engine as that approach severely limited Grim Dawn. The screenshots look decent at least.

Unreal Engine 5
Glad to hear it. If this sells well I'd love to see them remaster TQ in their new engine.
This has my complete devotion. I am so very happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
When Diablo 2 Ressurrected got made I started a thread talking about how other games could do the same and Titan Quest was top on my list. So this is a dream come true.

Very hyped for this. Grim Dawn has the best class system of any ARPG, and it looks like TQ2 will be inspired by it. And I wanted something like Grim Dawn on my PS5.
Plus, the art style is really attractive. It's neither cartoony nor grimdark to an ugly extent. This is exactly what I want more of in this genre.

Grim Dawn evolved from the original Titan Quest, so if TQ2 follows that design we very could end up with the next evolution of that series.
Since it's in Unreal and not the old engine, it might let them explore options that weren't available to them before, so I'm going to wait and see how this turns out. I'm trying to keep an open mind and not let my expectations get in the way like I did with D4.
Those screenshots look very nice. I am a huge Grim Dawn fan. I have like 30 characters in it.
Me too. IDK how many characters I had but I culled them down to 20 recently
Grim Dawn has a wonderful balance in the importance of skill choices, constellations, and gear where it all matters from the start to the end game.

I have a lot of characters in Grim dawn too and each one was very interesting to play. They really did a good job on the combinations and I'd say a lot of the different permutations can actually completely differently.
Note: This is from producers of Spellforce 3, not from producers of Grim Dawn.
Well the Spellforce series was a mixed bag but a favourite of mine, though not to everyone's taste no doubt. Rather different games from TQ but as always the reviews will point the way.
Crate Entertainment's recently released Grim Dawn, an action-RPG in the style of Iron Lore's 2006 hit Titan Quest, began development in the hands of former Titan Quest developers.

So there is a connection.
Maybe they have the same teaboy?
You know, all this gets terribly convoluted. Developers, producers, publishers, games which are in "the spirit of", "a natural successor" and so on. Unless a game is a new title in the same franchise by the same studio, with the same producers and publishers you don't know what you are getting.

I loved Titan Quest too so this is so exciting.
