This video provides a brief overview of the VERY, VERY early stage of development. You need to jump through quite a few setup hoops at the moment so many will want to wait until it's further along.
I've verified that you can enter the game with the hero and costume of your choice. You can also use skills and explore several zones. Progress will be slow for quite some time as they are reverse engineering it all from what's revealed by the network packets and the added information provided by the Mac client(PC client doesn't provide this apparently).
