The First Descendant - Why no crossplay beta coverage on MMORPG.com?

The game surprised a lot of people and get popular these past few days. It had 77k ccu peak on Steam and people are generally loving it. It has also received a few patches and improvements throughout the the beta. But when I saw the homepage there's nothing at all about the game. Weird.

    Valid point.

    Surprised there was no news story for The Division 3 announcement as well.

    It uh, just isn't that great. The gunplay is good. The graphics are good. The content really isn't, the enemy variety doesn't seem to be there.

    And it doesn't even have battle and ambient music so the whole thing just feels lifeless and anticlimactic.

    It has nothing to do with quality though (and it's subjective anyway). There were many actually shitty games that got coverages here, even for small patches.

    This site tends to publish news stories when publishers send them press releases of upcoming events.

    Makes sense really that Nexon didn't send an announcement of their latest looter shooter to a site called MMORPG.com

    Greetings MMORPG Friends!

    Thank you for inquiring on our coverage of The First Descendant. We do have some coverage upcoming (apart from general news articles related to this title), but our staff has been stretched a little thin over the past couple weeks due to what, I would describe as "excessive travel", as part of multiple on-site coverage opportunities.   

    In other words, we're a little backlogged, but you should see plenty of coverage start to hit throughout the week! One thing I can say, is that we read the forums often and love seeing the community post about games that excite them (like this post). It doesn't happen enough in my opinion.

    Lol yeah, hello everyone.

    I actually quite active in this forums back in the days and probably had hundreds of posts back then, but I kinda fell out of the genre for quite a while and I think my posts got purged for inactivity at some point, not sure. I still open the home page almost every day though, hence this thread I made because I feel like something's missing.
