Pantheon's Visionary Realms has addressed the reports about a leaked letter detailing the company's intention to effectively monetize its new 247 play mode in a post on the game's official Discord.

Often they are PVPVE centric and unlike in a BR or MOBA the goal is to get in, achieve your objective and get out with your loot within the time limit of the match, and without your opponents taking it from you.
Here they are claiming to have separate PVE and PVP modes so a bit of a different take, especially the PVE only idea.
Still, definitely not at all what people paid $750 or more to test so understandable that several are breaking ranks to reveal information from behind the NDA curtain.
They likely are feeling betrayed and perhaps no longer fearing losing their testing privileges for a game mode they aren't even interested in.
Can't say I'm personally interested in playing an extraction MMORPG or whatever it might be called, certainly won't be any sort of shooter that most fans of that genre would recognize.

Today he confirmed what his offense was.

Ok, wow. I knew he was gone but had no clue he was fired! It was odd that he abruptly left but this explains it. This certainly puts things in a different light. So someone there DID have the balls to tell VR 247 was a terrible idea and they fired him for it. He was a good dude. What a shame.

I had already give up hope that Pantheon would ever see the light of day and I guess this is the final nail in the coffin.
This is the best news of the entire event. It restores hope to hear there are people who still have some grounding in reality. Sorry he got canned, but honestly it was probably just a matter of when, not if. Company leadership, that would fire someone like this, can't handle the truth. "Choo choo! Here comes the Truth Train Express!"
Also, based on the info above, what they did to Kilsin makes those involved in that decision look bad, too, although more info may be needed to really know for sure.

Minus is the worst of the worst. He works on videos but cant event set his microphone up. Has no idea when it comes to mmorpg and is a type of person that will steal from you even after you hand him stuff for free.

Today i'm sadly more aware of the type of confidence games and ponzi schemes some companies and groups tend to play with people's money now, even in this industry. I fear this is exactly what happens when we allow these people to go unregulated and unsupervised. And without consequence.

That's not what happened. Someone on Discord mentioned the new 247, so Kilsin thought it was alright to mention it in Reddit. He didn't say anything negative about the new pre-alpha schedule, but. He was instructed by Ben Dean to not talk about it.
AFTER he was fired, he mentioned on Discord that a new mode was coming and implied that some people might not like it. That was about it. He is NOW posting as though he was warning us then, and that that is the reason he was canned, which according to people in the know is actually because he hadn't been doing a good job at work. This is why he was given a different (made up) position for his last year with the company. The mention of 247 was just the excuse management could use to get rid of him. That is probably why somebody like Joppa could mention 247 on Discord and not be fired, although he could have gotten in a little trouble (I doubt it though as he is the creative director. Kilsin was a community manager/moderator). The truth is way more boring and far more realistic than what is circulating around right now.
