This Kilsin thing, started back in June when he came out, and started warning all the big investors, backers. Then the shit show started !!!
It did not happen in this order. Kilsin retaliated after he was fired for a number of reasons. Mentioning 247 when it was under NDA was the catalyst though for his firing. He wasn't trying to warn investors and the like. LOL
A month or so back long time employee Kilsin "left" the company suddenly, and there was some rumor of him coming to the unofficial Pantheon Discord to tell folks he was fired for an unintentional slip of the tongue.
Today he confirmed what his offense was.

Ok, wow. I knew he was gone but had no clue he was fired! It was odd that he abruptly left but this explains it. This certainly puts things in a different light. So someone there DID have the balls to tell VR 247 was a terrible idea and they fired him for it. He was a good dude. What a shame.
That's not what happened. Someone on Discord mentioned the new 247, so Kilsin thought it was alright to mention it in Reddit. He didn't say anything negative about the new pre-alpha schedule, but. He was instructed by Ben Dean to not talk about it.
AFTER he was fired, he mentioned on Discord that a new mode was coming and implied that some people might not like it. That was about it. He is NOW posting as though he was warning us then, and that that is the reason he was canned, which according to people in the know is actually because he hadn't been doing a good job at work. This is why he was given a different (made up) position for his last year with the company. The mention of 247 was just the excuse management could use to get rid of him. That is probably why somebody like Joppa could mention 247 on Discord and not be fired, although he could have gotten in a little trouble (I doubt it though as he is the creative director. Kilsin was a community manager/moderator). The truth is way more boring and far more realistic than what is circulating around right now.

wow you know a lot about the inner workings. VR PR much?
No, but I was in Discord the day this was going down, and I remember being surprised that Kilsin put the comment about testing going to 24/7 in Reddit before he deleted it. Thats all it was about. He wasn't talking negatively at all about the new graphics or mode. That is a myth that is now springing up. Also, if you are not a VIP, you have no access to some of this info, including the statement put out by HR.

Honestly, I never liked Kilsin. Always thought he was a bit of an ass as CM. But I've liked Ben D. even less from the get go, as he's a superiority complex arrogant piece of shit. This is all just my opinion.

So your exclusive insight is that you were on discord one day? If that is the only source for your comments, why should your version be believed over his?

To answer your first question: It was not exclusive. I was there and saw the posts he was making that are used further up in the images. Several people were engaged in this conversation. He was upset about being fired. It is understandable. I was witnessing this as were several people. As for Reddit, I saw this comment as well. As soon as he posted that alpha testing was going 24/7, I was happy and wanted to talk about it. When he deleted his comment, I deleted mine because I realized then that he might have made a mistake talking about it. I do want you to believe me because it's the truth, but I understand why you might not. When you ask me if my version should be believed over "his," do you mean Kilsin or the commenter above?

Your version of the story could be true, but conflicts with multiple other sources with references, links, and screenshots.
Where's your proof? Coming from an account that was created hours ago and has only spammed contrary posts about this very topic. So far, your evidence has been "nuh uh".
So, I don't believe an effing word you're saying until you can prove otherwise. The last thing this industry and community needs is yet another sycophant evangelist doing damage control for unethical incompetent companies trying to fleece consumers.

My story doesn't conflict with the images in any way. Everything in the images is true but happened AFTER Kilsin was fired. He wasn't fired for talking investors or backers out of giving to Pantheon. Ask yourself, would Kilsin had been intentionally warning investors and backers about this new 24/7 mode online and then be "shocked” as he was
in the image to be fired if he got caught, or would he have been shocked
if this came unexpectedly because he had made a simple mistake by
posting that pre-alpha testing was going 24/7.

So, your answer is still "nuh uh". That checks.
And regardless, the firing is a pathetic deflection for a horrible decision. These clowns could fire Hitler and it wouldn't make them or their laughable attempt at a dumbed down Tarkov clone any better.
However, posts like yours, doing PR damage control for what I see as grifting predators, will make watching the inevitable implosion that much more satisfying.

That's fine. VR has made some bad decisions, and you have every right to feel the way you do. Just make sure you base your opinions on the truth and not emotion. You don't need Kilsin's firing to fuel your dislike for this development campaign. There's plenty other things to be mad about.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for adding to the discussion. I hope you come back. I dont know if what you say is true but it would not shock me =-)
@ValdemarJ@Sensai Here is where you can see Kilsin addressing why he was fired for mentioning 24/7. There was never anything about his being fired for trying to warn people about what 24/7 was. He also mentions that 24/7 is tied to something bigger, which he didn't talk much about further other than some implication that some people might be surprised by it or something along the lines of: we will see what you guys think but it may not be positive. That's it, so it was a bit of a surprise when Kilsin went on Reddit today to say that the reason he was fired back in June was that he tried to warn people about 247.
edit: anybody can go on the unofficial discord and search kilsin to see where people mention his name around this date in the image. then jump to those comments to see his part. you can't find him directly by searching for his name because he left the server (i think). There is a whole lot of context to all this stuff, and you can see a ton of it if you feel like it (before it's deleted).
At the end of the day, it's shitty to fire someone by text/Teams. It's not like this was some kind of emergency. Guy worked there for a decade and he gets a text that he's fired?
That, more than anything I have seen tells me these folks are scum.

110% agree. This one fact alone is more than enough reason for me to avoid this company and game like the plague.
If this is how they treat their employees, how will they treat their players?!?!
As I remember it, they had been trying to reach him for a while (a
day or two?). If you look at the first sentence, they say something about
having to set up the teams chat because his schedule has been so busy,
meaning they were saying diplomatically that you aren't returning our
calls. jeana then mentions how mike has been trying to set something up with him, so since he isn't working with them, they have to do it this way. when he responded that he was headed out the door and couldn't
talk to them then, that's when they decided it was best to have the
conversation they had wanted to have probably on the phone with him.

I can understand it might be out of necessity or whatever but this is never done in my industry. Granted I work for the state of Georgia so we have very strict laws. We always do it face to face and with reps from their department and human resources present. I do not even think phone is acceptable but I am old school.
Understood, but Kilsin lives in Australia as well, and the VR offices are not.
edit: im sure the time difference also made it difficult to set something up.

Nothing really new as his info sources are the same as the rest of us but still, I always wondered what he really looked like.
Oh yeah, it's mercifully short, like 12 minutes or so.
