It's funny. MMOers get upset when developers make make MMOs that make one MMO into something that pleases everyone. We all know that just means no one is happy.
Ashes is 100% committed to making a PvX game. Meaning, if you like PvP you will enjoy this. If you like your PvE to randomly have some PvP chucked in, you will like this and if you don't. Look else where.
