Truthfully the only game on the horizon I truly truly want them to get right. The Mass Effect trilogy/legendary edition imo is the best game(s) ever done. It was an experience not just a game. It rivaled the best movie trilogies and put most of them to shame. Even Andromeda was good, not as good as the OT but still solid. Most are hoping this would be a direct continuation, but to do so would canonize one specific ending. If this is set 100's of years in the future, beyond even Andromeda, then this would keep all the previous endings in tact. Because by that point Shepard should be long dead even if he lived at the end of original trilogy. I still wish Henry Cavill and Amazon would hurry up and get moving on the ME series they have licensed.
On the plus side they are making something new for Mass Effect but on the negative side this new Mass Effect is probably several years out, after all the latest Dragon Age (now named Dreadwolf) was announced in 2018 and still is not expected until best case late 2024.
Also, while their development timeframe was already at a crawl the Bioware studio responsible for the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games have had a lot of what remained of senior talent leave over the last few years and with EA wanting to trim its workforce across the board, Bioware this year laid off a number of developers some of whom had worked on the original Mass Effect series.
I am guessing now that N7 Day really means IN7 Years /s
But I want the future of the series to resemble the series at its best, not at its worst.
Dragon Age fans have it much worse. There's only one good Dragon Age.
I don't 't disagree.... but notice how I said nothing but quoted something someone else said based on it's near relevance to the statement you originally made; yet you replied to it as if I said it? That's basically what AI does.... lol.

Nope, the series are as good as each other in my eyes, but does that matter as what we want is more great ones?
I would give you an agree clicky thingy but still too young (this site is ageist!!!!)
The site takes such precautions to stop adbots being more of a nuisance than they are. Considering some have enough AI to make their posts seem quite human I'm all for the precautions. But I do realize this must be a pain for real folks.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
