Unreal Eden, DAOC remastered

Won't post any links since this site gives mixed signals about discussing free shards for active games.
The Eden team has published several videos this fall regarding a "secret" project they've been working on called "Unreal Eden."
Not to be confused with their upcoming free shard launch in Dec, Eden 2, this new work is all about remastering DAOC in Unreal 5 and what they have to date is pretty impressive.
From one streamer's video I watched, Nathan Napalm, I don't think the Eden dev team is promising to deliver all of the original game, but rather a more Battleground centric spiritual successor, which might be a realistic goal.
I'm sure whatever they try to deliver will catch the attention of Broadsword so I'm wondering if the Eden team will try to pitch this to them as a partnership or even be hired on as employees.
