Is that such a bad thing though? I mean, sure it would be nice if every game had its own unique assets, but that is a cost that many indie devs could better use on actually creating an engaging game. At least that's how I see it.
Quinfal is visibly taking a bitter bite that it likely can't chew, using store assets to get visuals in early is not a big issue, what matters most is the programming quality of the game to make it all work together, and the game mechanics being there to back it up.
Both of those titles are failing badly. Fractured is all but dead and embers adrift has been in trouble since the word go.
Without that you're just another nobody working on a soon to be failure that the whole industry gives side eye.
If this is what games with bought assets look like, I wish ESO would have bought their assets.
Same answer came up matter how many times I asked.
Failure is quite certain.

Might be a lot of store assets, but some of the spell effects from Kyron online (based off Turkish mythology) in this game. Like the one spell were the archer fires and other ghosts archer appeared. I’m not saying it’s any good or ever will be. I’m only stating this because it’s true. That game was in beta after 2 years of development.
As the local Fractured Online fanboi, I'll respectfully disagree.
The developers are very active in discord and they're working with several guilds to test the end game content update due this month. They've made several adjustments in direction based on player feedback. They also showed off a new mount and are discussing new PvE and PvP events.
Yes, the population is down and it will always be a niche product; however, it is the only game I've found that has held my attention for more than 15 minutes.
