Wuque Studio is back with its latest premium custom keyboard kit: the Freya. This keyboard is one of the most gorgeous we've ever seen and includes a knob with a built-in touchscreen display, a volume slider, and a beautiful mirror finished bottom. Whether you're in the market for a new set of keys or not, this is a mechanical keyboard kit you won't want to miss for its looks alone.

It is strange but MMO news are slow so rather then have no new articles for weeks; might as well do reviews on things that they enjoy. Christopher is an audio and a keyboard guy; so he reviews audio equipment and keyboards for fun since seven people don't need to cannibalize each others reviews on what boils down to the same article on one game that happens to have a new update.
WBadger is right that it is something I enjoy, but we have been covering keyboards of all makes pretty much weekly for around nine years. It runs the gamut from gaming to DIY enthusiast. Though it's certainly targeted toward a specific audience, the analytics are there for readership and clickthrough. Most people don't comment because they're coming to the article looking for that specific feedback. We're also one of the few sites that covers this type of keyboard with this much depth, something that the keyboard enthusiast is looking for, which I'm rather proud of.
I also think it's fun just to share novel pieces of tech. Things that, while the average person may not be in the market for them, they're interesting to see and learn more about. It's why I continue the Golden Ears audio review column; that started because I wondered, what is it that makes these super expensive headphones worth it? Snake oil? Anything real? I'm not in a position to buy super expensive tech, but since I am privledged enough to try it, I can actually explore and answer that from the perspective of a normal person - or try to.
And you would be surprised that many people have gone through and purchased some of the most expensive gear we have ever covered. Not that I see anything from commissions personally (I am paid a set rate monthly), but between the traffic, those figures, the things I have heard from people personally, and that I enjoy it, it's something I have embraced and continued to build up.
I don't mind hardware reviews because a lot of this stuff I don't come across on my own even in all my browsing. One can only go down so many hardware rabbit holes. As for keyboards, they are literal art now. Limited quantities and more than just functionality. If you just need a keyboard buy something from Razor or Logitech. If you want something quality and bespoke, custom or individualized to fit your your mood or esthetic go for one of these.
