The fact she says she plays d4 is enough to make me puke. This is a bad idea.

I mean, if the employees are happy, I have no reason to complain. I still won't play their games anymore.

Honestly I wouldn't be playing d4 if it didn't come with my Xbox. After the many issues with blizzard both personal and otherwise. I don't care if Elon had the job they won't get a penny from me just like EA and now ubisoft. I wouldn't give Microsoft a dime either but windows has gamers by the you know what....

This isn't even about video games anymore, it's about chasing trends.

This reminds me of when the UK put a complete inexperienced newbie into the Prime minister role, and she lost the UK a fuck-ton of money while in her position because... 'newbie'.

'Inexperienced' what are you even talking about? She worked for 11 years at a high level position in the NFL which is a 10+ billion dollar year industry every year. Besides that, she also managed CoD which is Activision's most profitable mainline game... I think she's going to be fine and is far from being a 'inexperienced' anything. She doesn't need to be a developer to run a company, and that's exactly what she's doing. She's running the company. Not making games. Lol, the president of the company isn't sitting down there with the grunt ass coders they pay 50-70k a year making games and working long hours.

Let's not pretend like she's going to do any worse than any of the other people who were already in positions of power before her, people who allowed workplace harassment and sexual cubical crawls became a mainstay of the "Blizzard" culture.

And by "Blizzard names..." you mean "Microsoft names..." because "Blizzard" is now nothing more than a brand owned by Microsoft. They may be set up departmentally such that they're somewhat autonomous, but make no mistake about who's calling the shots.

...and, what a name!  (it scratches a particular mental itch when someone's name fits a particular corporate role).

    Good for her.

Yoga definitely helps to get to the top chair..
Actually at a recent Town Hall where I work several executives said they did Yoga for stress relaxation.

So apparently is a popular thing...

Me? I kill zombies in mass quantity to relax.

The NFL is at the worst point it's ever been at, which had been building up to this point almost entirely during her reign. She left right as ratings hit an all time low, what an odd coincidence!

Call of Duty has D4 characters running around with M4s and people playing Cats and Dogs wearing plate carriers...

Yeah, she's experienced alright, at ruining good IPs and turning one of the most masculine sports on the planet into one of the most laughable, then running for the hills after the damage has been done or being transferred into a different position because outwardly firing a female exec for being bad at her job is a no no these days.

Having experience does not equal competence, there are plenty of examples of this throughout history.

    Clearly the NFL is dying....

NFL playoffs and conference championship games draw highest viewership average on record

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The television audiences for the NFL playoffs and last Sunday’s conference championship games are the highest on record going back to 1988.

According to the league and Nielsen, the first three weekends of the postseason averaged 38.5 million viewers on television and digital platforms, a 9% increase over last year.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ 17-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens averaged 55.47 million on CBS, making it the most-watched AFC championship game ever. The previous mark was 54.85 million when the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New York Jets to advance to the Super Bowl in the 2010 season.

The audience peaked at 64.02 million. It was also CBS’ most-watched non-Super Bowl program since the 1994 Winter Olympics in primetime on Feb. 25, 1994.

Read comment above. That's what we call a M-M-M-M-MMMMMMONSTER KILL. People like to say the sky is falling when it's not even close to happening, but they'll take their own opinions as fact and pretend that's how everyone is feeling about a certain thing.

Get over it. CoD is still the most popular game in their roster and is going to continue to be wildly succesful. Just like the NFL is going to continue to grow and make billions of dollars year after year despite whatever your feelings are on the matter.

Is she as evil as Kotick though? That's a job requirement no... alignment evil must be there somewhere in job specifications in invisible ink.

But are we talking Lawful, Neutral or Chaotic here? As the GM I am going to need to know that for his character sheet. :)

    The sky isn't falling?

The President left and got replaced by a game's General Manager.

One of the founding members of Blizzard left.

A game that was in development for 6 years was cancelled.

Unknown number of employees laid off.

And that's just what they've publicly said.

Yeah .... everything is perfectly fine at Blizzard. Yeah .... that's it.
