There are very few activities in the game that rank based on skill. No ranked PVP. Just massive zerg fests. PVE is just grinding events to collect wolf tails at level 6 all the way up to level 50 where you just picking up a different item instead of a wolf tail. But the event is the same. Kill thousands of mobs, run to turn in. Press interact button.
Instanced dungeons are a joke to anyone that's done dungeon content in WoW. If you've never run a dungeon in an MMO they're challenging. If you have a basic understanding of MMO mechanics you'll be farming them within the first few days the game launches.
The game needs more of a skill gate to make it worth playing. Rated PVP with the best rewards being for higher rating. Dungeons that are harder to do that everyone in the game can't complete.
There's currently nothing in the game that requires getting better. All you have to do is put in the hours and grind to see the best rewards. Most people are over that 20 year old design. Which is why the game is already dying a month and a half after release.
Game vision is already fucked, not as excited for this one as I once was if I'm being honest.
