Are forum posters more likely to be MMORPG players?

So I can't help but to see similarities between public forums and MMORPGS.

Some people:
Facetank - throwing out some taunts to keep people's attention.
Supporters - Just hanging out supporting various points of views of others.
DPS - Showing up for some quick takedowns or nukes.
Stealth - Someone coming from stealth to 1 shot executes.
Coop - People cooperating/teaming to push a point.
PVP - So much PVP going on.
RP - People roleplaying.

Questions:

1) Are Public forums essentially just mini MMORPG's with bad graphics?

2) Are Public forum participants more likely to be MMORPG players than the general public?

The loot is the brownie points, the forum even has a system for it!
