Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore has rolled out a series of updates through a server side patch followed by a server restart. The new updates promise an enhanced gaming experience with a peculiar new inclusion known as Chicken Gambling.

    Come on, what do the chickens do to win, run a race, peck each other to death, Cruft award for best looking chicken? We have to know! :)

    Players (like me) may laugh but at least they are trying to do some new stuff.

    Greetings Curious MMORPGer,

    Believe me when I say that I attempted to find as much information on Chicken Gambling as I possibly could. From what I could gather it looks like it's a chicken battler, where they fight, and the last chicken standing is the winner. 

    What I can tell is that Chicken Gambling released, and then was disabled (at least temporarily) due to a bugged chicken. This is just one egg-sample of how a rushed patch can cluck up an interesting new feature. Hopefully they fixed it and it didn't ruffle the feathers of their remaining player base.

    Sorry to comment on an old post - no, the game is completely F2P while we work to build out a quality product
