Why should it be banned? Do you think people who actually take time to play and reach those parts of the game are going to rush out and have sex with animals. What kind of shallow ideas does that spring from? That is shapeshifting and if a person can take the time to play Baldur's Gate 3 and read and progress in it , one can also expect that they have more sense than that.

Furry's Gate 3 with some great new content.

Enter your camp to randomly encounter Astarion getting buttfucked by a bear. Afterwards, they cuddle with much improved lip locking animations.

Then walk on and enjoy talking to 9 girls, guys and beasts who all want sex with you, because you didn't pick every asshole dialogue option available and they therefore misunderstood your intentions. Obviously happens to most gamers in real life all the time, so why not in a Larian game, too.

Larian should add a 'whiney voice' for the main character's dialogue. For folks who just can't bear the regular ones.

Yeah like I said in other posts. I really enjoyed the game. Played with friends and we had a blast. But the folks that wrote it seemed like they were 13 year olds writing a raunchy teen movie. Almost everyone is horny and looking to have sex with anyone and anything else. But We just ignored that. Would have been a better game without it though. At least IMHO.

I feel the same way about overboard gratuitous sex scenes in movies these days. It adds nothing to the plot other than some people kissed then had sex. They could tell the same story without forcing us to have to sit through it; and it slows the story down. I just fast forward these days lmao, idk maybe I'm just old.

100% agree. I guess in movies it's been like that for a long time, but TV is getting crazy. Nothing more uncomfortable than sitting down with my wife and daughter to watch a show that starts out saying "Strong Sex and Nudity" or something like that.. I guess it's actually worse because there no way I can select the dialogue choice to shut it down

That's the thing...we're literally not in a tizzy. It's data against certain folk and we enjoying the circus...if you know what I mean. I think that was PC enough.

I think while growing up having my mother sitting by my side watching lovemaking scenes were terribly embarrassing. That isn't unusual but our discomfort in something in a game should never be the cause to advocate it's removal.

That is why when Korean and Japanese games make it across and are censored it annoys me. However I understand that the rating of a game necessitates some of the changes. When a game is rated properly though this shouldn't be an issue. You do not have to lobby for something to be banned when you can simply avoid it.

I am not accusing anyone of lobbying for it but wondering why something isn't banned indicates a basic reaction to being made uncomfortable and the go to response.

In Malaysia which is a Muslim country but with a large number of religions and races there has been a whole slew of things that are banned regularly. Growing up I could not even watch certain movies or listen to songs that had lyrics that were banned and that was the norm but Malaysia is a haven for piracy so I never really lost anything that could not be obtained through other means.

This is one of the reasons I react badly to other people's knee jerk reactions and suggestions to handle something they do not like or want in their games. Not to forget the ludicrous comments on some choices in roleplaying games when shape changing or races that never age are involved.

Steam forums have been awash with what should be removed from Palworld on a daily basis and it is ridiculous. This is the current gaming atmosphere where imagined animal rights and cruelty and slavery are popular topics to farm awards. It drowns out the relevant discussions.

Technically it is a druid transformed into a bear, but it is indeed not something welcome to all. Regardless, I think it common enough knowledge about such things being in the game so that those that find it a deal breaker know to avoid it. For those that don't it's not problematic to them or not enough so to deter their playing of the game.

It shouldn't be banned. People should be adequately informed when considering purchase as to nature of the content included so they are well equipped to decide if they want to be exposed to it. Hopefully the makers of the game were descriptive enough in their content advisory to allow for that.

Oh I don't know...I just know that it's caused a lot of commotion. A lot of streamers around all the games were talking about it (on the big twitch pages of streamers.)

Most of it is probably made in fun with that 'nervous laugh' approach.
