Is this game any good still? I'm used to survival mmos like my favorite Conan Exiles, and my new bestie Palworld, but this game I don't really know much about it.

It's great. I've played a lot of mmo's over the years and really enjoy it. I got into it last Spring.
There is a LOT to do and the community is very kind for the most part (outside of PVP maps).

It depends on what you want I guess. The combat was never great in this compared to others imo.

But the worst part about mmrpgs is that they're static and dumbed down compared to most other RPGs. MMRPG game worlds are static and don't change through player action. There are no consequences to nearly any action. All the game play revolves around doing tricks for gear rewards. Slightly more involved tricks gets players better gear. Compared to crafting base builders like Conan Exiles, 7Days, Palword, Ark, etc., MMOs are a big pile or nothing burger, except for their advanced and complex cash shops and currencies.

People can play what they want, but I find MMRPGs to be boring and unsatisfying.

If you like survival games, and games that gritty and hard.. then GW2 might not be for you.

It's more a happy fuck around game, where the majority of the players are here to have fun, do stuff, sometimes silly, sometimes serious.

    It's mainly a casuals playpen
