Unforetold: Witchstone entered Early Access in January, and developer Spearhead Games is now ending production "indefinitely" this week on the CRPG after "difficult" financial circumstances that also see the studio laying off most of its staff.

    The game is out already. It launched Jan. 25th 2024. Does this mean they will close down the game or keep it running in maintenance mode?

    Almost bought it in EA, since its actually very promising.

    Only out as an early access, for players who paid for that hopefully this is a lesson, don't buy early access games.

    With an all time peak of 109 players on launch day down to 24 a week later and 4 in last 24 hours, it may actually be a good thing they folded right away.

    Thats too bad, I had this on my wishlist but was waiting for full release and to see the review score.
