Hey all,
i play mmo since 25 years and know the most of the old big ones, and have a heart for the good old games. The last years i played steam games but actually i would like to join a mmo again, which is "the XXXX actually" all playing
So the most favorite mmo of most people these days.
Would be kind to give me a hint.

But, I think the MMO ship has largely sailed. Newer ones don't seem to get the same traction and things seem to have shifted more toward smaller co-op such as the multitude of multi-player, survival games or Helldivers 2 (as a non-survival, recent example).
Not to say there aren't people playing MMOs. Just that it may be tough to get much consensus on a single "most favorite mmo of most people these days."
That's just how it looks to me though. Maybe/Hopefully, others have better ideas...

Last MMORPG I loved was EVE Online which I left over 7 years ago.

It's a great "Get in and play" MMO, they have no increased the Level cap, so there is no catch up game you need to worry about, the community is pretty friendly, if you need some toxic assholes in your life, it has PvP and Raids for you get your fix
I like the graphics, but some people dis on them, to each their own on that one
Since it's F2P, with Expansions in case you want more of the game, it's easy to get into, and easy to leave if it is not your thing.
This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
Excelsior has the most people on it, followed closely by Everlasting.
As for me, I am only playing ESO and I have given up hope on any new game coming out. All the ones promised will fall short for one reason or another so I found a home back in ESO. It has everything I want, good questing, housing, fun classes, etc... Its not perfect but I have been putting in some crazy hours in the game lately. I had not played since the Skyrim expansion so I have several expansions worth of content to go through. I easily get my $15 a month worth for sure. And to the above point, we still talk about ESO and FFXIV as some of the best of the genre.... ESO launched 10 years ago and FFXIV before that.
Until Blizzard ruins it of course, like they ruin all things, especially if SoD is the direction they want to take old Classic.
I'm interesting in something new, but what else is there?
