    The game had an excellent foundation for PvP, its unfortunate that they are moving to pve content only. Not only are they not adding pvp content, they are removing previous areas/features that allowed for some pvp.

    Unfortunately for PVPers developers are always going to listen to the larger customer block, which is almost always the PVE crowd.

    PvP doesn't seem removed but instead made opt in. That should allow everyone to play according to their personal preference in that regard.

    PvP has always been opt-in. Just to give an idea of what kind of pvp system they had in CBT2:
    You had a 'Chaos,' flag. Basically you could pvp against any other player who was chaos flagged anywhere.
    You had refineries. These were things you could create that would refine starchrom which would initiate a defend against waves mission that also other players could potentially fight and steal said starchrom
    You had dedicated pvp zones that had various resource refineries. So there was never a rust style just kill anyone you want whenever. PVE servers, they are removing the pvp elements entirely; and pvp servers are going to be CBT2 servers where you have that pvp system I just said; but you still wouldn't have an open season rust murder anything game.
