I saw this the other day. It's from 1989 and focuses on a gaming convention/competition. The ending cracked me up. Here is an auditorium full of the world's best gamers competing for big money, and they are playing -------- Mario Brothers.

What a riot to see all those Nintendos lined up and the big screen feverishly watching Mario's latest kill of a turtle.
