    No surprise. When they announced this new maintenance mode format of content after The Final Shape, it was more than obvious that they are working on Destiny 3 (as a PlayStation exclusive).

    Same as GW3 was obvious after they switched from proper expansions to this new maintenance mode format of drip-feeding one new map over the course of a new year.

    Also, if you lay off 100 developers right before their annual bonus payment, it's obvious you will suddenly have some reliable leakers.

    Then I reminded myself that not everything is a government conspiracy, just most things.

    I mean, normal, they already got all the money they could with destiny 2, same they did with the 1, if sony is involved in the 3 it will sux so bad.

    Bungie didn't have him killed. They just vaulted his life so they can bring him back later.

    Destiny 3 as a PS exclusive seems unlikely given how many customers they still have on PC. I could see PS/PC, but I would think it highly unlikely they would shut out the PC market after they've been paying customers for years. Granted Bungie does have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot so... maybe?

    Where does that narrative come from? Destiny was shitty and consumer unfriendly under Activision, it stayed that way when they went independent, and it's still that way under Sony.

    There's only one common factor here. Bungie. A comically incompetent, greedy studio that has done even more to destroy their legacy than 343 ever could.

    Part of the acquisition deal with Sony was that Bungie remain independent and free to publish on any platform.

    So, Destiny 3 could be PC only.
