If it keeps the servers on as opposed to them going off then it is what it is.
It just says a lot about the state of games these days.
they need to go back to the now current-gen consoles and put the Odyssey update on them so people aren't left out since they're definitely not gonna leave them out of the whole buying ships for real money they need to bring the update so it's a complete game.
I haven't touched the game since they decided to abandon the consoles. That update would work with the current consoles no problem.. last gen had problems with a few games not being able to work on them but the current gen has been way better for game developers as they have way more power now.
The last get had only like 4 tf and 6 tf but now they're sitting at 10tf and 12 tf fixing to be bumped up a few more for PS5 with the rumored and leaked PS5 Pro and then Xbox will have another one later this year but I think it was just a digital Series X but they're more than capable of running the Odyssey update with the regular launch current-gen consoles.
I won't buy a ship unless we have the complete game. They are more shady than that of Ubisoft's SHADE! That's pretty bad! Especially after years, the game has been out and instead of making a new game, then putting that in, they just keep the old game going and add more ways to get your money but won't give the full game to everyone. Pretty dang bad..
Then it's time for them to invest in an advisor or 2. Sure it may cost them a pretty penny, but if they can use that advice to improve the game and get more customers, I think in 6 months or to a year they could make up the money. That is a guess though, and it is a risk. It depends on the studio how they proceed and the choices they make. Though I doubt they'd take that risk.
