@needsmorecbell The youtube video link appear to be broken.
As for the game itself, i really love and am enjoying it, it's a very wonderfully pretty game, and drenched in Japanese culture.
It's causing me to nerd out whenever i get to construct my own Haiku poems, which is one of many of its various gameplay systems.
It does have some problems though that could be fixed with patches; the japanese lip-sync option is not working as intended and the lips are mouthing what looks like english words instead of japanese.
The PSN login is also kicking back errors when we try to login.

Yea, not sure what is going on with our system - but we'll get it fixed.
As for the game itself, I noticed the same lip sync issues yesterday -iirc the PS5 version had these issues as well before, so hopefully it's ironed out soon.
I returned the game soon after buying it. I love chinese culture more than japanese which is why I'm looking forward to "Where Winds Meet" sometime in the next year or so. I'm sure GOT is a fine game but I just couldn't get into it. Besides, in the very first mission where I "Must find my sword" all stealth like, it felt like being dropped in the middle of the ocean and being asked to swim to shore. No direction, no helpful hints, just enemies I must not alert, and a sword I must somehow find. It felt like they were padding the gameplay time so players would have to waste at least 2 hours playing so they could no longer return it.

That’s the kind of stuff we’re missing in modern games actually. Were you hoping foe yellow exclamation marks telling you which way to go?

I'm not a fan of pixel hunting either as it usually feels low effort filler, like you say. I've seen later game play videos and they do look good. A couple people I know liked it a lot. The combat looks a lot like God of War style with lots of big enemy health bars requiring precision parrying/dodging to avoid attacks and charge specials. That part doesn't excite me personally.
The upcoming Assassin's Creed looks good and will be coming to Xbox, which Ghost of Tsushima will not, so it's an easy choice for me.
