Okey now im going to talk to those of you whom is tired of MMORPG or just whant to play other games right now.
In my oppinion no one of you guys that have the HALF-LIFE game, do noy buy any new games. There are millions of mods to HALF-LIFE, Just check the internet for anything that fits you.
BattleField: geas, thats a good game, Mods it has everything.
Just ask what ya need and i will try to find the mods for you.
Just need to know wich game?;)

Yea there are thousands of mods for half life...
but the grahics just look like plain crap! Times change, I needed a change from modded half life games.
I'm pretty sure graphics is a big reason a lot of people went to half life 2

Battlefield 2 is rumored to be the most moddable game at the time when it is released. Should be interesting. CSS also has many mods. I probably have downloaded 5 different sound packs and 40 different weapon models.

Apparently, Epic says the Unreadl 3 will be one of the most moddable engines ever made, and they are making it able to support huge streamlined worlds, keeping MMOs in mind. If you havent seen what this engine can do, look up the E3 demo, its just unbelievable.
Why would you want to mod U3 engines's beautiful graphics anyways?

Not so much for mods, more so for actual game developers. Similar to L2 and UXO using the current Unreal engine, we could see newer MMORPGs using the U3 engine... now that would be a treat. Also, if you didnt hear awhile ago Bioware is using the U3 engine for an upcoming RPG. No name was mentioned but its believed it could very well be Baldurs Gate 3

I loate G4 after all that TechTV and the Screensavers business...
But mods, BF1942 had some kickass mods, my favorite out of your choices, Though I've moved on to Vietnam which doesn't have as many. But Desert Combat is still probably my favorite mod ever, and Eve of Destruction was great too. UT2004 is probably my favorite overall game with mods. Red Orchestra, SAS, Deathball, Strike Force, Troopers, Checkmate, Carball, those are my favorites. Then I could play Assault into oblivion, UT2004 is a damn good multiplayer game.

Ill tell you this. Some modes makes changes to the GFX(graphic) and some dont. But anyway, as som of you guys have mention, the U3 GFX is a pretty good GFX engien, but here is the catch.
This GFX is very hard to code for some of the GFX cards, it will be almost impossible to not lagg and lose some FPS, Even the G-Force 6 GT wont make it without lagging.

When me and my boys tried to make a mod to HL2, it all whent wrong. the coding laguage is very hard to use. Thats why many of the developers makes mods to HL only, Its a very simple games. But as you all say. The GFX is getting old. And most of the users is dropping because of the GFX,
