A new mobile processor from Intel is using the new 10nm finfet techology, but it is still slower than AMD's mobile processor:
Intel is still behind AMD's 7nm parts, and AMD is already moving to 5nm. Also, this was a benchmark against a Zen3 processor, and AMD has announced the Zen4 architecture that is faster.
"The AMD Zen 4 core architecture will be fabricated on TSMC's 5nm process node and is expected to launch sometime in 2022."
If Intel's brand new technode at 10nm is slower than AMD's 7nm, then Intel needs a new architecture AND a new process node to be competitive.
