If it fails there will be the lf gf person at the start and the guys cat poop that stinks and maybe fff responds to stinky poop cat guy. So, there will always be atleast 3 people playing.
MMObyte (stix) had some gawdawful feedback. It being too 'mobile' like for him. They also offered him a lot of money to have positives reviews while controlling his words which appalled him.

Eh that doesn't bode well, not a fan of mobile games trying to peddle themselves as a mmo......also as for buying his good reviews...it is a chinese company isn't it?
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

Companies from all nations try to buy good reviews, not just Chinese ones.
Don't expect it to blow your mind, just go in with rock bottom expectations. Anything by Tencent is likely to have a pretty decent presentation, but once you get past a certain point, it'll show how bottom of the barrel it can really be.

Controlling the narrative by any means possible is a very recurring MO in China more so than many other countries, same as it is in North korea and a few others so not something super unexpected.

Tarisland, from what I've seen, is a kinda dumbed down version of WoW. They did this to make it mobile friendly since it's kinda hard to run with 2-4 hotbars of skills on a phone.
People complaining that it's "like a mobile game" kinda miss the point on that. Of course it does because it has to.
I'm not saying to ignore all the other faults, but go into this knowing the game is built around mobile because anything that can be played on a phone can easily be played on a PC, but the reverse is not true.
This may be one of the best mobile MMOs in existence and I'm excited for that because sometimes it's just so easy to get on my phone but very few ever feel like an MMO and the ones that do have been out for decades and it's always a slog to feel like you have to "catch up".
I'm looking forward to it and tempering my expectations.
So now I've tried it. All I can say is, they had to be smoking some good shit when they thought Tarisland was a good replacement for losing World of Warcraft. roflmao
There are mobile games that actually feel less like mobile games than this trash.

Even thought how nice they are adding a lion race to go with the pandas. Looks a lot like a reskinned Tauren from how it stands.
