Game is not properly launched and now they are working on a boardgame, you could not make this up. I am convinced we will see Valhiem 2 in early access before the first one launches out of it!
Bored game. Truly hate them. I know folks love them, but to me it's that last resort activity at family gatherings where you don't want to be outright rude and pull out your phone when you've got relatives that have traveled hundreds of miles to see you but you're out of small talk about the weather and how your job is going and last year's vacation photos.

I like board games But I don't want to play them with relatives for the most part.

Yeah, I would turn most of my relatives away at the town gates in a zombie apocalypse.

As someone who loves both video games and board games, this feels like a perfect crossover. I can already imagine gathering around with friends, rolling dice to take down those epic bosses from the game.
I'm curious though, how do you all feel about it? Do you think the board game will capture the essence of the digital version? I'm hoping they find a way to keep that sense of exploration and survival intact. Plus, it could be a great way to enjoy the game in a more relaxed, solitaire way when you can't fire up the PC.
