LOL, there will be no "fix" for the EPIC game store version...... EPIC and Valve COULD fix what boils down to API migration between the two platforms, and they have both stated they were working this issue (years ago BTW, has been dead silent since). It's the same reason why folks who have ARK on either platform can't join servers on the other platform (because of Workshop integration). These seem unrelated, but they are not, I personally think it's Valve using the only "means" left to them to try and discourage using their main competition.

I think it's funny you classify Epic Games Store as competition. As dated as this sounds, Epic is basically beta max. Maybe for your generation you could call it MySpace.

Beta Max? As in a superior format that lost because porn sided with DVD?

Not a great comparison, unless you think Steam is winning because of gooner games.

This is a non-issue for me. It requires an engine/version downgrade and, if I understand correctly, has integration with the community fix mod that is made by a complete jerk.

This is a big pass for me. It sounds interesting, but I'm not jumping through those hoops for an amateur mod.

Epic doesn't support running the mod, and neither will Xbox. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What are you on about? Technically, all mods are amateur if you go by this def "a person who engages in a pursuit, on an unpaid rather than a professional basis." Also..... "Epic doesn't support running the mod" - you don't say? FO4 has been available on EPIC for barely 3 months, are you well? "and neither will Xbox" - Maybe that's because how mods are acquired through XBox? So it's a non-issue for you, cool.....why go and bash people along with your 'no one asked' post?

I think it's funny that you think they aren't, because they are by definition and with a market share of 39.1%. That just tells me you are trying to be edgy, and make chucklesome analogies. Either way, why focus on that specific part of what I said. This is BOTH of their faults, like I wasn't picking a side, weirdo....

I don't think that 39.1% is correct. Based on Epics Game's own info Steam's market share is about 85%

That 39.1% looks like it's actually market share of company named Epic (not Epic Games, they just have similar names) in EHR systems in US hospitals.

@Vrika Ty, you are correct.....it was bundled in between the results showing their developer percentage, even though the search string was specific. BUT, it doesn't make my point mute. They are still a competitor, and @ZenJelly is still tryin to be edgy and the other stuff...../chuckle

I'm currently reinstalling FO4 and all the official DLCs getting ready to download the mod. I'm curious, does anyone know if I can use an old character save with London or if I'm forced to start a new game to run the mod?

From the Fallout London FAQ which, frankly, you could have looked up yourself, but since I already have the answer copied to my clipboard:

Will Fallout: London require a new game save?

Yes, a new save is necessary.
Fallout: London will take place in a new world with a new protagonist and is completely separate from the events of Fallout 4.
In addition, Fallout: London will make critical changes to the base game’s mechanics.
