    Are Confidential Console Closed Beta codes region-specific? For Xbox, Confidential Console Closed Beta codes can be redeemed in any region globally. For PlayStation, Confidential Console Closed Beta codes are region-specific and can only be redeemed in the following countries: North America: USA and Canada. Europe: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.

    Hello everybody, the code didn’t work for me either on my PS5 but I found a workaround!

    I entered the code using the PS APP on my phone and it worked first try!

    Heya all - 

    We got word from Amazon on the region issues. When they first sent us the codes, they didn't give us any specific guidance other than "EU," which naturally would mean to anyone reading it that the codes would work in Europe.

    However, after reaching out, it seems there are actual geo restrictions on these codes:

    • Europe: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.

    Apologies on the confusion here. But it looks like it is region locked in places like Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden and a few others mentioned in this thread. Again, we were unaware, otherwise this would have been plainly noted on the page (and we would have barred IP addresses from those places to even get a code just to be safe).

    AGS is a legit cesspool of complete imbeciles, and I seriously can't tell if it's intentional or not because I just can't understand how a company can be this incompetent, unless they are trying to be.

    Got code and downloaded but says cannot connect (UK), can't get past character creation, un installed and re installed but same issue. Beta will be over by the time I can get on :(... Sad times.

    This page says I cannot redeem a code because my region, USA, is blocked. what an absolute waste of my time.

    Americans these days aren't that great on World geography, who knew Scandinavia was considered part of EU?  ;)
