Until the Paths to Glory update launched for Albion Online, it had been nearly a year since Nick logged into the MMO. However, the meaningful changes and additions have made this update both a great guide for new players, yet provides something meaningful for a vet like Nick to do when logging back into the MMO.

There's plenty of mmos that don't have PvP as a necessity & have it as an option instead. Are you that narcissistic that you don't recognize those?
There are a lot of solo activities in most of the facets of the game. High-level solo dungeons, instanced 1v1 PvP, gathering, etc. You will miss some of the best content in the game that way (imo) but playing alone is very doable.
Do you mean no PvP at all? That would mostly be impossible as even in yellow zones, other players can still attack you. You'll only be 'knocked down' with minimal consequence and not a lot of people actually gank you in yellow zones but it's pretty hard to avoid PvP altogether.
However, if you only mean avoid lethal PvP where you might lose gear, then it's 100% possible. There are lots of players that spend their time completely in yellow zones either gathering, doing dungeons, there are world bosses, and lots of organized non-lethal PvP. Faction Warfare in yellow zones basically replicates ZvZ fights without the risk of gear loss.
Good to know & thanks for the insights, actual information, & answering the question.

Do you even read? It was the context: I had asked specifically about the degree of PvP in this mmo. It is a valid question if one doesn't want mandatory PvP.
He/Scot stated " 'Can we solo to top level and avoid all PVP', guys its a MMO with PvP in it, why would you want to do that?" commenting on my question &, I think, another poster's (blix2006).
Pretty simple, again, if you read or perhaps English isn't your first language. Besides another poster already gave answers. I guess you & Scot weren't able.

Really good to know & thanks for the insights of the play & PvP.
You are quite right there are, but do they all have to be like that? Look, to me the best MMORPG set up is an RvR like DAOC but with no reason for PvE guys to go into the PvP areas. With a lot of grouping at top end but optional along the way.
Having said that, we need variety in MMOs, not the same old template all the time, for me that's part of the reason the genre is not doing so well, its a bit stale. So questionable if this is a game for me, but I don't expect every MMO out there to be designed for me and it is healthy for the genre if it is not.
