I would offer that if "middle earth" is supposed to be something of a world then things like fishing or bird watching kind of round out what one can do. People fish. People bird watch. It's sort of a nice extra diversion.
Don't get me wrong I prefer combat and driving the orcish hell spawn back to mordor where they belong. But there are people who like playing the game in a sort of "cozy" way. Especially those who are playing hobbits and the like.

I was going to give this game a try, but setting up an account turned in to a major ordeal and I said screw it
How so? What happened?
If you already have a DDO account, you can't add lord of the rings to it, so you have to make a fresh account and cannot use same email and that is just the start of the issues. Google it with reddit and youll see their customer service is a complete joke.

Oh that, big deal, that's what hotmail's for.
OR you can just do a search for the code SSG's Customer service would send you as it seems it's the same code for everyone.
This has been talked to death over on the Steam forums.
And just a historical note: You always had to make a separate account for each game, there was never a 1 login for all. Only thing that changed from when the games launched was you do have to have different emails for the game accounts.

Is this a new problem? My DDO and LOTRO accounts are on the same account.
