I loved the beta. Plays really well on XSX and the controller works very well. Can't wait for Oct release. Already have friends ready to join.
What is same and different about the game play? The messaging on the AGS website was not very great or helpful. There was a lot of confusing, seemingly contradictory statements.
I don't really care about how bad that sucked, I just want to know what is the same and what are some of the key changes, if any.
I really hate that they're recycling player names after making such a big deal about 1 character per server and taking the RPG aspect seriously. On the other hand, the combat is excellent and I think it's one of the best newer generation MMOs. I own it on Steam so I can keep playing there if I want to, but I love playing on my Xbox much more than PC so I'd still consider it. Very glad to hear the controls work well.
When I kept looking over to my partner playing, yes you can swim. Pretty much most seemed the same, lots more narrative and NPC cutscenes, new start part.
Oh you also choose a class/archetype at the start, although you can still basically use anything like normal.
