Kingmakers, a medieval action strategy sandbox title, with time travel and anachronistic weaponry, hasn't even released yet, but it's already getting a film adaptation.

Do they time travel back and forth to buy more of the needed supply and bring it back?
If they can not, then do they become a weaponless peon in that time period?
I can see a massive can of problems in resupply and afterwards in game play. One is would the locals see the time travelers as deamons, devils, witches, or warlocks to be feared and killed.
Just my one cent worh.
Obviously this is all fictional but if you were going to send me back in time with advanced weaponry or tools or vehicles, I would want to be trained in how to not just maintain the equipment but how to fabricate parts and fuel etc to maintain it? How do I create a smelter and forge? How to I create basic tools that I can then make a basic lathe? How do I find the raw materials to build all this? It's a tall ask, really. You would need to be trained up as a master engineer and smith and geologist and chemist and electrician. We take so much of our technology for granted we forget how much it would take to start from literally nothing but the raw materials in the ground. Want electricity? You'll have to somehow build a generator from parts you fabricate with your hands.
I highly doubt this game covers any of that.
I think if your coming from the future you know historically where ore/lead/iron deposits are you know where to drill for oil. So, I would think it would be pretty easy to know where to get resources but your right that would take special training to act on that.
