I know a lot of people are hating on this but I'm really excited for it!

Looks very cool!
I can forgive it being Ubisoft. I can even forgive that is AC in a Star Wars skin. But the limit for me is the fact that part of the goal of the game is to make a name for yourself and establish a reputation in the galaxy. But so much of the game is stealth and you can fail many missions if you are discovered. How do you form a rep or gain status in the galaxy if you are always stealthed? Do you leave a note after the fact? Help produce a movie on your life story? Take selfies with when you mission is completed? I don't get it and it kills the point of the game for me. And I HATE forced stealth. Make it hard sure but please give me the option of going in guns blazing if I want too.

You’re overthinking this.
Just because you use stealth to achieve a mission doesn’t preclude you talking about it or being revealed at the end or having your employer tell others, etc.
If they wanted it to be truly challenging it would be named Star Wars: In-laws and it would be a stealth game trying to avoid your spouse's mom who is visiting for the holidays and has overstayed her welcome by a couple of weeks.
that's what i am saying ......... release the game , ok and give it some updates as time goes on or even dlc's but a season pass ????? wtf the game costs 120 ...... or 17.99 on ubisoft premium but if you look on their site it says if you pre order you get kessel run blah blah blah , well how do you pre order the ubisoft premium ???? however i havent look into this much so whatever

Im always excited for a SW game. This one I have some reservations. Avatar was made by Ubisoft and the content was very cookie cutter. My hopes is Outlaws is not like that. Many people, like myself. quite after only okaying about 30% of the game. I dropped it about 30hrs in.
I jumped for joy when the reviews were so positive for Outlaws. Then we found out Ubisoft showered the reviews with gifts and a free trip to Disney World. So we have to take everything they reviews say with a grain of salt.
Myself I canceled my pre-order and I am waiting for what the masses say about it. I am also upset with Ubisoft new stance that gamers need to get over "owning" their games. They see us more of renting a license to play.
For me, Ubisoft really does not have values I like and their quality lately has left me wanting. I hope Im wrong with this game.
Do you have to pay each time for a new season pass? To keep up, how much would you have to pay in a year? what if you don't pay?
Seasons pass is a one time payment but its for just two quest lines. No details om how much content you are getting for paying 25% more.
It says so in the names - Wild card, which means you might get alot of content, you might get nothing..and Pirates Fortune, they are of course reffering to themselves - buy it, and the pirates over at ubisoft gets a fortune

Yes but how much content? Pay 25% more for 3hrs or content? Or is it 1hr?
Anyone considering buying something from this bad joke of a company does so at his own peril. Quadruple A failures in bargain bins for $10 a few months after release, or removing purchased games from players' libraries is just an especially fragrant cherry on the turd that this company has become - its name best avoided in polite conversation.
Using cash to light up my pipe would be a much healthier use of my money than giving a single cent to these clowns...
I will likely still end up buying this game, as I believe this is still going to be the first AAA Star Wars game developed by a non-Electronic Arts studio. I'm still so happy that EA lost their license!
But im not thrilled about the core game, it's not really what im looking for in a Star Wars game.
More recently, my facebook has been flooded with adverts for Outlaws, all claiming that this will be the first open world Stars Wars game! That lie, just by itself, is making me seriously question whether I should get this game! They've been corrected so much, yet they still persist on marketing this game using a lie.

All I want is an open world Star Wars game playing as my own Jedi. To me this seems like an obviously predictable direction to take the series but fun nonetheless. SW Fallen Order/Survivor were more linear experiences so I feel the open world experience hasn't been explored yet.
I'd love if KOTOR remake or a new version for the series got done even moreso.
In the meantime, with regards to Outlaws... I just don't get the Season Pass for a game that's mostly (if not all?) single player. Seems an invitation for player hate.

I don't think EA lost the licence they just lost the right to be the only ones making games with the licence. Now other developers can do it too.

I haven't been excited for an Ubisoft game since I was a kid. This game, as much as I like Star wars, isn't going to change my view on company or the horrible launcher they tried to force down our throats.

They lost their exclusive license (they tried to retain it iirc) but you are right, they can and are still developing SW games, its just, finally, others can do so too.

I hope this is just another nail in the Ubisoft Coffin. Shitty company needs to be put down.

2024: 47 years on the Net.
Must not wait too long as Ubisoft might decide to remove the game completely. It is after all Ubisoft we are talking about.

That means EVERYONE in the universe can claim that they did it. This is a bad take.
