Well, I just couldn't get into ARK... and refunded Atlas pretty quickly. So even though the sci-fi theme is more my groove, I think I'm better off passing on this.
I was hooked until I read Snail - so let's see.....A super early access launch followed by 5-10 years of promises and bug fixes that leads a launch window around 2039. Yeah that sounds about right.
I played and loved Arc for a long time and am interested in what this one will look like. On a side note, the Discord link you have up there does not work.
It looks interesting. Only time will tell if they develop it properly. I'm not one to wire off a game because of past experiences with a developer. If I was, I wouldn't play any game ever released.
Snail Games doesn't have a good track record of development, they're kinda shitting even more on their fans by trying to develop this game because apparently they've completely abandoned Ark 2 development. Having said that, it would be really nice if this game could compete maybe 5% with star citizen.
As someone who's seen all the snail games and put in almost 13,000+ hours in Ark. I will most likely see assets from all their games mixed into this game. Those guns will probably not be COMPLETELY new guns, it will be an offshoot of the Tek-Rifle or something. That creature flying in the sky in the video? Has the same exact movements of the Dragon Boss in Ark. Luckily for gaming companies, there's new gamers born every second that Don't know they aren't creating something completely new.

Which is it? For everybody, or only for people who love survival games? Not everybody likes survival games, so it's not really for everybody. -_-
and when it is for everybody it usually stinks
EDIT: *most likely*
have fun
More like No Mans Sky because Light No Fire is the "Classic-Fantasy-No-Mans-Sky"
