I find it unlikely that GTA 6 would do it: Rockstar/Take-Two have never been big about running their own store.
Also in a lot of the world GTA 6 will have 18+ rating. Even if they likely want to have certain amount of bad publicity for being an immoral game, I don't think they'd want the publicity that would come with launching a famous 18+ game together with a new payment method designed to hide whether the buyer is a minor or not.

The only way a GTA-6 can succeed its own success is to make it a play the players to play game. They have to capitalize on that cartel mafia theme. It's the only way to dominate the space and compete with COD, FF, and whatever happens to be at the top. Whether you like it or not, crypto is here to stay. This is the only move Rockstar Games can make to destroy its competition and depopulate game servers throughout the world. The only thing that can defeat a GTA crypto game that pays its players to play, is AI, and even AI would have to pay them more to play in my opinion.

Always be the guy that paints the house in the dark. Lucidity can be forged with enough liquidity and pharmed for decades with enough compound interest that a reachable profit would never end.
It’s interesting to see how GTA 6 is looking to integrate crypto payments. The inclusion of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT will definitely open up new ways for transactions within the game. I’m curious about how this might impact the in-game economy and player interactions.
On a related note, the use of advanced technology in gaming is becoming more prevalent. For instance, the integration of quantum ai in game development could revolutionize how games respond to player actions and create more immersive experiences. While it's not something we've seen in GTA 6 yet, it's exciting to think about how future updates or other games might incorporate this kind of tech.

Definitely can see the potential. Now hackers can steal your account info and ransom it back to you for crypto. Or set up extortion or protection rackets, pay your monthly crypto payment or they harass you mercilessly in game wrecking havoc wherever you go.
Hacked wallets, loansharking, money laundering, rugpulling, so many real world possibilities for criminal behaviors to be introduced into the game, what fun.
Won't players be surprised when the SEC and OFAC start taking interest in their in game crypto transactions, I look forward to reading all about these stories on WEB3 is Going Great.

You've got to admit that those awful aspects are very much in line with the tenor of the GTA games. So thematically appropriate. Just moved up a level on the reality scale.
If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.

I don't see this as a major attraction for players and it will be either GTA6 brings something really unique or players will go back to GTA Online.
