Maybe they can start improving the game by removing their black box spy ware. There is no reason to have that shit running on our systems, especially when the game isn't even running. You can mock me about "privacy"; but you won't understand until you get your ID stolen and your life destroyed beause of it.

Once Human must be one of the most ignored popular games in recent memory. Despite still managed to retain most of its playerbase after 5 weeks with 150k average ccu per day, gaming outlets barely mention it, nor even bothered to review it. The game only received 10 reviews in Opencritic so far with 79 average score. It's also still charting very high on Steam best sellers (by revenue) globally at #5. Yes it's PC only atm, but there are more popular PC only games too out there.

It seems to peak at 2-3 PM UTC, which kind of means that it's mainly a eastern market which plays it. Could explain why western media is not picking it up.

I had a look at some vids, interesting but likely too much crafting for me, but the water and food elements of survival did not seem too severe.

I've come around on Once Human. I'm 35 hours in and I'm really enjoying it. Super satifying gameplay loop and just enough variety in things to do to keep it from getting stale.
