    Feels like the government just wants to take the fun out of everything. Gotta have a permit just to fly these things and if its over the 249g weight you'll probably basically need to know how to fly a real plane.

    They are going to get smaller, there are some that when folded can already fit into a pocket. They don't handle wind so well at that size but they give a whole new dimension to 'spy in the sky'.

    Yeah there is a reason for this, people have ruined it by doing stupid shit and being harassing with them, and they can pose danger to people, structures as well as other aircraft; hence the rules which as drone pilot myself I'm in full support of. It's not hard to become licensed and you might actually learn something.

    The only thing you don't have to do is register and have remote ID in place. You still need your course and to follow all the regulations.
