Graphics and artstyle aside they must have a good story and good gameplay to win me over. Let's see.
That's the thing Cheyane, the story and gameplay now have to be good, not a great place for a Dragon Age title to be when no one even questioned the graphics of previous titles.
Good to hear about the optimisation for controls, but like anything in any game, you believe it only after the reviews.
I'm just going to throw out a prediction - once people get over the art style and tone changes, this will actually be a very well received game.
Prediction- this game is going to flop 100x faster and harder than Inquisition and Andromeda combined.
I don’t believe Inquisition flopped.
I think it flopped as in not making enough money and falling from sales charts too fast.
Game sold more copies than previous titles but was way more expensive both in development cost but specially in publicity (they even bought awards, it was a nasty time for EA) so revenue was low (if not a net loss).
They launched a trial version as soon as 2015 (EA needed microtransactions to be boosted so gave like 10% of the game for free to try and catch fish because the game flopped in revenue). It also went into freebies territory really fast (I remember getting the game for free with EA Origin? around 2018. And also got it in Amazon Games and Epic store as freebie several times.
All those moves don't speak about a game doing great. Nor at launch nor as selling life expectancy.
2014 must have been a scarce year for MMORPGs then.
I recently played another playthrough of the Mass Effect series. That is a splendid series.
It wasn't. EA bought the award (the money they rained in all the access media press was obscene).
That year it competed in RPG against quite better and more innovative games like:
Divinity: Original Sin (9,5)
Wasteland 2 (9)
Dark Souls II (9)
Shadowrun: Dragonfall (8.5)
South Park: The Stick of Truth (9.5)
DA:I was an 8.5-9 at best.
It barely would make it into top 5 of RPG of the year lets ignore best game of the year. EA travestry at it's finest.

Dragon Age Inquisition won:
Game Awards - Best Game of 2014
Game Awards - Best RPG
DICE Awards - Best Game of 2014
DICE Awards - Best RPG
It was Bioware's 2nd best selling game of all time (behind Mass Effect 3)
You're quoting "awards" given by this rotten industry, really? When we had just the other day a whole article and long discussion about Ubisoft bribing their shills with all-paid trips including VIP shows at Disneyland and whale watching tours? When the shocking levels of corruption in gaming and gaming journals are now clear to virtually all who do not deliberately close their eyes? Now that takes extra levels of ignorance to try pulling this off.
If you want to play this ridiculous game about awards, how about taking a slightly broader view than EA's marketing team's flexing and comparing it with - I don't know - a little game that came out the year after DA:I and which earned about 50 times the number of awards DA:I ever did? Or do we not talk about RPGs like Witcher 3 when it doesn't suit our narrative?
I'm sure I'm not the only one remembering the whole deluge of videos back in 2015 ridiculing DA:I and comparing it with W3. And for a good reason. One was a soulless market-researched action-combat run-of-the-mill-MMO-lite letdown of a game; the other was an actual excellent RPG.
Sure, DA:I has sold the most copies in the series by far. But keep in mind the other two games were pulled off the stores cca a decade ago, while DA:I is still heavily promoted. DA:O Ultimate now occasionally appears on sale in GOG and is always a good deal - but that's about it. DA2 is not promoted in any store, I'm not even sure if you can still buy it. Perhaps, if you start digging for it in Steam's archives...
Meanwhile DA:I Ultimate is among Steam's highlighted front page promotions pretty much every month and has been pushed by EA since 2014 without a break. Also, given its shift to a more of an action game, it's not surprising it reaches a broader audience than its predecessors, including people who would never touch a complex tactical RPG.
Really, your focus on "awards" doesn't prove much else than a complete degeneration of the gaming industry into the swamp that it currently is - barring a handful of exceptions.

I'm sure their developers are devastated at winning all the awards and selling all those copies.
How about when Elden Ring won or Baldurs Gate 3 won? Where is your bribing argument there? Or did they just take that year off?
I like and dislike Inquisition. I loved the art style, RPG, and combat mechanics. I didn't like the characters or story at all. I can't get through the game, much like Greedfall, because I find most of the characters uninteresting if not insufferable and the plot bland and predictable.
The art style in Veilguard is appealing and looks good, even if the change feels jarring compared to Inquisition. If the combat and character build mechanics are decent, then I'll give it a try because that's important to me, but probably not until it hits EAPlay and GamePass. The story and characters just need to be engaging and interesting.
Also, BG3 style romance; that's come up a lot recently in reddit threads and it seems to be very popular now. I'm not a fan of the style or games that chase it, and if this leans heavily in that direction, then I'll definitely be waiting until a later time to try it out. I'm interested, but we'll see.

So... lol. You mean once we get over the fact that it's really bad looking, we'll just get used to it's bad looking graphics? I mean... I guess.

IF it plays like the original DA, yes.

Yes evidence that refutes it.
