    I hope I don't need to watch the entire dune series and movies to understand and enjoy this game.

    So this is starting to look like Conan exiles with a dune skin and some lame mechanics to give it a survival feel....I wish I had more faith in failcom to make a decent game...

    No I am sure you can jump in, unfortunately games are made that way these days; you need no information, no prior expertise of any kind to play.
