These guys are the example to follow, update after update and not trying to nickel and dime anyone.

It's hard to think of any other game that introduces a new activity like fishing, along with bait, a bunch of fish types, a new vehicle to fish from, awards for completing fishing tasks, new cooking recipes using the fish, and a new season (expedition) with its own rewards for completing it, and all for free.

The way they handled NMS is one reason while I'll definitely give their next game a try.

For sure. I will preorder Light no Fire as soon as it's available. This is a company worth backing.

I have to cast my mind back to when NMS was released too early and was rated poorly, yes they came good but most don't. I am now in the enviable position of never having played the game and now have it sitting in my "bought list".

Will I play it this year? Maybe but they keep adding stuff so it could be next year. :)

Your doing yourself a disservice by not playing now...It is just a shell of it's former self and well worth playing as there's so much to do and so far all of it is fun and interesting.

It's come a long ways from this...

And yet go look on the Steam forums, people are still complaining about fishing and wanting more other things. I swear the community for this game are like a bunch of spoiled babies now.

It really is a great success story. Ultimately they delivered on their ambitious goals. While No Man's Sky isn't my type of game it has me very excited for their next mmo, Light No Fire.

This is why I shouldn't run a game.
    I'd be banning some accounts.

Go stink up someone else's community, you absolute internet Karen.
