We both know that that 8.5 actually means 7. This expansion is really lackluster and WoW is stagnated (not "has been" because is something without remedy) in it's core for at least the last 10 years.
Best WOW expansion in years hand down. Its much better than Dragonflight and I would say the most fun I have had since Wrath. I love having options and no game session is identical for me and I love that variety.
I'm still kicking around diving back in. Got a few games I'm still wrapping up first. Also, I don't mind letting the buff/nerf whiplash settle down a bit as the class I was initially looking at which was predicted to be S tier ended up in the also-ran category (holy priest). Very typical of new launches. I always end up as heals because tanking is too much pressure, and dps is like 95% of the population in WoW. I will say it's at the point where I can go to 3 different sites and get 3 different tier lists, so that means it's probably close to balanced since no one can agree.
Just started Baldur's Gate 3. Looks like I have 200+ hours to go until I try anything else.
Already been invested in WoW since Beta 2004. A nice break I shall say is welcoming.
The soundtrack is 10/10!
TWW by far has the best soundtrack I've heard in an MMORPG since Guild Wars 1.
Usually by this time I've already turned of the music but this time I just can't get enough of it
According to WindowsCentral the game has roughly 7 million subscribers. That seems like a long way from dead. Sort of the exact opposite of dead, really.

According to the guy that runs Warcraftlogs WoW has surpassed the peak from WorLK with the launch of TWW and WotLK Classic in China.
It is just some guy that runs a third party website but players from all regions sends him tons of data and he has contacts at Blizzard.
Servers are packed, at least the two I play on. I have seen people return who probably did not play regularly since maybe Cata or Legion. I have said in other posts that Blizzard finally found a way to cater to every player at the end-game. I love WOW and I love playing the game but I cannot do hardcore raiding or mythics at this point with how little I can play due to life. Its not fair to others foe me to try and have some static group to tackle that content. So in the past there was little to do. But now I have LFR, delves, world quests, dungeons, heroics, racing, world events, etc... And I can get decent gear to stay up on content.
I can say this: As far as I know, there is no other MMO on the market (except maybe ESO) that gives the amount and variety of content at the late/end game like WOW does in The War Within. TWW really re-invented a 20 year old formula and perfected it. Now if Blizzard could stop messing with delves I would be even happier.

You're still just confirming the fact the game is not dead unless you're suggesting this is all some conspiracy theory and the servers are actually all empty. Something tells me anyone can log on and see that's not the case.

This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
