    ...I don't know!

    This will not be even close to Lost Ark success, at least in terms of players playing the game at launch.

    I played it a bit in the Beta and was pretty impressed. If it will .. settle to 20-30k on Steam, then all good!

    I think a lot of players are dying for this type of game and it will have high initial numbers. It looked pretty exciting when I saw the few access events however the lasting appeal is what I doubt.

    The thing is, it's another game that is fairly fun until you reach max level, so it will do well in the first 1 or 2 weeks.

    But then? It's very similar to Lost Ark in end game gear progression. Group raids are the only way to advance, including elitism and p2w shortcuts to get into groups.

    Only this time, this game is also very PvP-centric, making the group-only/elitism/p2w aspects of this game even worse than in Lost Ark.

    Hard pass for me, but I wish everyone banking on this game all the best.

    It's too bad Western MMO devs never put this much dedication and attention to detail into their releases. I don't care for the combat systems, monetization, or PvP focus of T&L, but I have to applaud their world-building and willingness to innovate for the sake of fun factor.
